The only dedicated 2SLGBTQI+ library in the city of St. John's, the Octagon Library was created by NL Queer Research Initiative and Quadrangle NL in 2023. The library is named after the queer icon Charles's Danielle and his legendary Octagon Castle. The Library has the largest collection of books written by  members of the 2SLGBTQI+ community in the province. The subjects ranging from nonfiction to children's storybooks and everything in between!
